Regarding Requests:

  1. Commissions must be requested through the provided commission request form. Questions regarding commissions are acceptable, but work will not begin until a formal request has been submitted and accepted.

  2. Accepted commissions will be completed in the order requested. Once the previous commission has been completed or commissions have been opened again, the artist will contact the requester regarding their request.

  3. Commission requests may be cancelled or delayed at the discretion of the requester. This may be done before being contacted by the artist or when the artist contacts the requester regarding the request. Delayed requests will be moved to the end of any existing wait list.

  4. Commission requests are not guaranteed to be accepted. Reason may or may not be provided regarding any potential refusals. Failure to comply with the Terms of Service or provide payment for your commission will result in immediate refusal of any future requests.

  5. Prior to starting the commission, artist and client will determine a suitable communication platform. e.x. Discord, social media dms, and email. Phone numbers are not acceptable.

Regarding Timeline & Process:

  1. Standard commissions will be completed within the following periods:
    Sketches : Two Weeks
    Lineart : One Month
    Non-standard commissions will have a timeline given prior to starting the commission.

  2. Non-standard commissions include:
    Three or More Characters
    Complex Backgrounds
    Complex Character Designs
    If a commission is considered non-standard, the artist will notify the requester prior to accepting the commission.

  3. The artist will provide regular updates to the client regarding the piece. Regular updates are once a week. Updates will be given after each step is completed.

  4. The client may request minor revisions after the initial sketch is completed. Relevant revisions must be given before the next update. Major revisions may be considered for an extra charge.

  5. If adjustments are made to the timeline or there are any delays,the artist will inform the client. Delays or amendments exceeding two weeks of the original timeline must be accepted by the client.

  6. Clients have the right to request a refund one month after the deadline if work has not been delivered. The client agrees that they will not issue chargebacks and that they will follow the refund policy below.

Regarding Payment & Refunds:

  1. Payment for commissions will be made via PayPal invoice. Alternate methods must be asked about prior to making a formal request.

  2. Half of the full price of the commission will be charged once an initial thumbnail sketch has been accepted. Work will not continue until the payment is given. Failure to provide payment within a week will result in the commission being cancelled.

  3. The completed file will be provided once the full price has been paid. Full sized images, including initial sketch and .SAI2 file will be put into a google drive folder for storage and access. The link to said folder will be provided upon receiving payment.

  4. Excessively complex designs, requests for alternate styles, excessive revisions and other requests may result in higher price. The artist will contact the client and discuss any potential up-charge to the price. Work will not continue until both parties have come to an agreement.

  5. If the artist cannot complete the work or there are excessive delays, the client may receive a full refund. If work done up until this point is accepted by the client, the artist will provide a partial refund according to the amount of work complete.

Regarding Usage:

  1. Commissions will be for personal usage only, unless prior discussion has been had and other uses agreed to. e.x.; use of image in as personal social media icons, banner and posts. Printing is prohibited only for private display.
    If the client posts the image publicly, proper credit must be given to the artist, including artist name (@kobble-arts).

  2. Commissions are not to be used commercially, unless discussed and agreed upon. This includes but is not limited to use in streaming, videos, physical products, or other monetary gain.

  3. Commissions will not be used for AI, Machine Learning, Crytocurrency, NFT or Blockchain. There will be no discussion regarding this issue. Find another artist.

  4. Commissions containing sensitive material must be tagged properly when posted. Sensitive content includes but is not limited to: sexually explicit content and gore.

  5. The artist retains copyright, ownership, redistribution and intellectual property rights to the work.
